Superior SuperVault aviation range

Fuelchief have engineered a compliant customised fuel tank range called the SuperVault. This 4-hour fire-rated tank is recommended due to its SwRI 95-03 rating. It has been multi hazard tested meaning it has been bullet-proof tested, impact tested, and fire tested and has achieved top certification from the Southwest Research Institute.
Stainless steel additive tanks for custom aviation projects

These are precision welded by hand by our team of experts. Welding stainless steel compared to carbon steel requires both T.I.G welding and M.I.G welding. Each has a special technique, requiring a high-level of skill, however the combination of both guarantees a superior finished product for the client.

Here is our team member Cris who has been working on a client’s stainless steel tank for fuel additive. The are many welding techniques used across the world. The one Cris is using for this particular project is TIG welding. TIG welding is extremely versatile, but is one of the most difficult welding techniques to learn and Fuelchief TIG welders are skilled individuals. Two hands are needed for TIG welding; one hand feeds the rod whilst the other holds a TIG torch. This torch creates the heat and arc, which is used to weld most conventional metals, including aluminum, steel, nickel alloys, copper alloys, cobalt and titanium.
